Pros and cons of Neuroshima Hex Puzzle app for iPhone and iPad

Neuroshima Hex Puzzle app good for

nice riddles here. i played with a friend for hours and there are still lots of scenarios left. if you liked neuroshima hex, you will enjoy this one as well.
This is a fun game on its own, and is also a great way to improve your NSHex skills.
I purchased this game because I love Neuroshima Hex. This is a great companion to it. I hope the developer adds more puzzles over time!
I love the main Neuroshima hex game to death, so I am desperate for any new content while I wait for online Multiplayer, and this is a great way to play the game solo. The puzzles are interesting and fun and the text before each one is pretty useful for getting a sense of whats necessary. I would recommend the main game before this one, but if youre like me and have put hours into the main game then this is an easy 3$ purchase. IMHO they should have included it in the main game download it is so related and really would be an AMAZING form of tutorial within the main game, but Ill forgive them and recommend this anyway because they are just so good at making the interface and usability sparkle. The core engine is perfect and easily worth 10$ considering the amount of great art and testing licensed from the board game, this is another great use of all that work.
What can be said? Its the learning tool that Neuroshima Hex doesnt include! So overall, while its a great game, Im not so sure about the iOs packaging. The same questionable english featured in the base game carries through here, bringing down the level of polish. I havent yet encountered the same crashing issues though. If youre thinking about trying Neuroshima Hex: A) Its great - take the plunge, and B) you could do worse than to start here to learn the game.
I love NS hex, so I thought Id love this too. Some of the puzzles are satisfyingly difficult, but too many others are dissapointingly easy. Limiting the solution to one play turn, means that theres usually a limited number of things to try, so even if you cant figure out a puzzle, its sometimes easy enough to stumble into the answer at random. Otherwise, its still quite fun.

Some bad moments

Its a good game and can help learn strategies for the full Neuroshima Hex, but if you already know how to play the full game youll probably find this to be extremely easy. Ive only encountered a handful of puzzles that I didnt solve right away on the first try.
I already was familiar with the game and made the mistake of buying this first. it wasnt what I expected but its alright. This should have been part of e core game and not separate.
This is a great way to learn the game of Neuroshima Hex. I will give it 5 stars when the app is updated to contain 50 more puzzles using the two expansion armies, New York and Neojungle!
I note that some reviewers say that these puzzles are too easy if you can beat the AI in the game NS. Thats B.S.! 100 detailed and subtle puzzles; youll scratch your head at MORE than one! Well-designed and balanced. Have FUN!
It is a good way to practice the original game. It has helped me look at tiles in a different way.
This game is "just" a puzzle game, so know that going in. That being said the game looks great, is really well built, good sound effects and a nice interface. I havent done all the puzzles yet so I do hope they get harder, but it is a nice way to get thinking and have a single player NH experience.
